We work hard to ensure our events are as accessible as possible, and will supply free of charge carers tickets for events held at The UEA LCR, The Waterfront and The Waterfront Studio for disabled guests. For full access information regarding our venues, please head to our Accessibility page (link).
For accessibility information or carers tickets for events held at other venues, please contact the venue in question directly.
If your ticket is to be collected from the Box Office, this can only be done on the event day once the doors have opened. The Box office for each venue is located just inside the main doors. The lead booker will need to collect the tickets and may be asked for ID.
The UEA LCR
The UEA LCR is based on campus at The University of East Anglia. From London take the M11/A11; just outside Norwich take the A47 (Southern Bypass) in the direction of Swaffham; the University is signposted off at the next exit.
If you are driving from the North or the Midlands, you can use the A47 via Kings Lynn, or the new A14 as far as Newmarket and then take the A11 to Norwich. UEA is situated on the outskirts of Norwich, around two and a half miles west of the city centre, just off the Earlham Road (B1108) which is one of the main roads out of the city.
If you have satnav, the University's postcode is NR4 7TJ
Parking for Gigs is in the Main Car Park. At the entry barrier, please press the green button to take a token. When you leave, take your car straight to the exit barrier and insert your token at the barrier for exit. There is no need to make payment. Free parking tokens are available from XXX time before doors open.
Dropping off - please drop off those attending gigs in the Main Car Park. The LCR is only a 2-minute walk from the car park.
Picking up - when collecting those who have attended a Gig, please do so from the Main Car Park. At the entry barrier take a token, and when you leave insert your token at the exit barrier. There is no need to make payment.
Please make sure that you do not lose your car park token, as a lost token fee is £12.
Please do not try to drop off and pick up directly outside the UEA LCR or in Union Place as this area is usually cordoned off during events for pedestrian safety, and can become congested very quickly.
The nearest National Rail station is Norwich.
There is a bus stop within 150m (164yds) of the venue. First Buses 25 and 26 both service the UEA.
Mini cabs can be booked in advance and wait immediately adjacent to the main venue entrance for pick up.
The unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment at venues is prohibited. Small personal cameras and phones are permitted, however we ask that you turn off the flash so as not to distract the performers or other guests. We also ask that you show other guests courtesy by not filming or taking photographs for excessive lengths of time. Larger SLR/professional cameras are not permitted into the venue unless you have obtained permission and a photo pass. Photo passes should be requested through promoters and bands’ press teams directly and not from the venue.
The UEA LCR, The Waterfront and The Waterfront Studio all operate cloakrooms, charged at £1 per item.
